I believe in God. I mean, how do you get mad at someone, blame them for what happened, and spend a lifetime running from them if you don’t believe they exist? So, I believe in God, but I don’t know Him.
Living in lies doesn’t come from not believing in God as much as it does from not knowing who God is.
Dangers Ahead Specifically Designed for YOU (and here’s why)
Not knowing truth can be why many women struggle. I asked myself, what if I know God better? What will happen? If we understand what the Bible says and we learn who God is, how will it change the way we look at things? Will it change the choices we make and ultimately change the way we live? I searched for these answers and applied them in my life and guess what? I changed!
The reason for this change came from learning who God is, how much he loves me, and applying His truth. The best part, I didn’t have to do anything except rest in His arms and see things the way He sees them.
I’m tired of looking around to see women stuck in the middle of regret because they believe lies they hear. Many women struggle to escape the lie’s that bind them, but can’t seem to find the truth to set them free.
So, I’m sharing what I know by writing this blog for you. Let me explain the what’s, why’s, and how’s right now.
Dangers Ahead – Designed for Women who want to Rise Above Lies.
Who Dangers Ahead is for?
Dangers Ahead is a blog created for women not only living in the lies they hear from others, but the lies they tell themselves. This blog is for any woman who, tired of the brokenness in their lives caused by these lies, are seeking the truth.
But not just any truth. I am writing to women who want to hear the truth as Jesus tells it.
Are you a woman unfulfilled by disappointment? Do you seek fulfillment in relationships, work, and hobbies? Do you cry out in defeat and believe nothing will set you free? Then I’m glad you’re here!
You are a woman who needs to know God. I want to show you that living life according to the lies we hear will not fill the longing inside. Only the truth of God can fill this void.
If you are a woman suffering from emotional difficulties, broken relationships, and a wavering faith, but want to rise above, Dangers Ahead is for you.
Why Dangers Ahead exists?
I understand you because I lived forty years in the same lies you are living. I’m that woman. I’m addicted. I live on an emotional rollercoaster. I live in lies from the past and have regrets. But I want to rise above. I want to know the truth. I’m tired of running. I bet you are too!
Dangers Ahead will help women rise above the lies that keep them struggling in relationships, addictions, emotions, and religion.
This blog exists to help broken women rise above lies and heal spiritually by exposing the lies with the truth of God’s word.
I did not understand God. I searched to know Him. Now my life is better and I want to share with you the way you can rise above.
I found the only truth that sets us free from these lies is God’s truth, but we struggle because we don’t know who God is and what He says.
At Dangers Ahead, I attempt to look at each lie and reveal what God says is truth. I want to lead women to Jesus by replacing the lies with the truth of God’s Word.
Whether you have never met Jesus, or need to be reintroduced, this corner of the blog will show you how to tune out the lies and tune in the truth.
I want you to rise above!
How Dangers Ahead can help?
Dangers Ahead will show you how to rise above lies by revealing the truth of God’s word so you can understand Him, can know Him better, and can find the peace you long for.
We will look at stories of genuine people in the Bible to expose each lie and share the truth with you by showing how you can rise above. We will see how God rescues.
I’m no expert. I’m looking for truth. I share what God shows me, hoping to help others rise above lies. I put my hope in everything else but was not happy until I put my hope in God.
My hope comes from learning about the lives of people that God rescued. Some examples of people in the bible included (but not limited to) are:
- Joseph, sold into slavery by his brothers, but in the end raised up by God to lead them.
- Naomi, losing her husband and sons, and left with no redeemer. But God provided her with a daughter-in-law who saves the day.
- Saul of Tarsus sought followers of Jesus to persecute and kill, but by grace, God raised him up to be Apostle Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament in the Bible.
- King David considered “a man after God’s own heart” even though he had committed adultery.
- Let’s not forget the Samaritan woman who, after believing Jesus to be the only one to fulfill the longing inside, rose above to tell others about Jesus.
All sinners, but all had God’s hand working in their lives, just like we do. I see where God is faithful in my life and you can learn to see His faithfulness in your life, too.
The stories of people in the bible can help you understand God and show you how their stories relate to you to teach you the principles that apply to your life.
Let’s take this journey together as we learn truth so we can rise above lies.
